Welcome to the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, Fort Worth Section website. MERCEDES-BENZ VEHICLE REBATE PROGRAM FOR MBCA MEMBERS!  You may qualify for rebates of up to $1000, sometimes more, depending on model!  You need to be an MBCA member for at least 30 days to qualify for the new program. These rebates may change every month.  CLICK for details.

NEXT EVENT: Lone Star Section's 2024 Hill Country Run, Johnson City, TX, Friday-Sunday, April 12-14, 12:30pm


The Lone Star (Austin) Section has invited us to attend the 2024 Hill Country Run which promises to be a great weekend for fun and camaraderie with your fellow MBCA members.  It will be a two-night event. The dates are April 12, 13 and 14. 

As Lone Star will be hosting, attendees will sign up directly with them, and they will be collecting the event fees.  The registration and payment process will be a bit different from Fort Worth events, so please read and follow their instructions thoroughly

Signup and costs for this event are in Ginny Pitzen's instructions below.  The room block and the event will sell out very quickly.  No more spots will be added.  Make sure you are able to secure a room
BEFORE you register with Lone Star and pay their event fees.

The Fort Worth Section will meet Friday at the Starbucks at 7429 Oakmont Blvd, Fort Worth, Fort Worth at 12:30pm and caravan to Kingsland. There is also an alternative meeting place at 2:00pm in Hico. Please have lunch on your own before we meet.  See maps and directions below. 


Our Annual Hill Country Run will take us to Carter Creek Resort in Johnson City for two nights.  Our check in date will be Friday, April 12 departing Sunday, April 14, 2024.  Please make your reservations at 830-856-2707 and ask for MBCA Lone Star reservationThe group rate is $189.00 per night plus tax, etc.  This event fills up in 24 hours, likely less, so if you are interested in attending, please make your room reservations ASAP. Once these rooms are filled, we will not be adding rooms to our block.  Again, make sure you are able to secure a room BEFORE you register with Lone Star and pay the event fees.


Registration Fee for this event will be $74.00 per personThis will include event fee, dinner Saturday night and lunch on Sunday
If you are not having lunch on Sunday, your registration fee will be $46.00.  Please make your check out to MBCA Lone Star and mail to Arno Pitzen at 304 Legends Parkway, Kingsland, TX  78639.

Friday, April 12, 2024

- The Sections will meet at Boat Town Burger Bar/2900 Patio, 151 Melodie Ln, Kingsland, TX, for an early dinner (on your own). After dinner we will caravan to Carter Creek Resort.
gather to depart for Carter Creek, 4064 US-290, Johnson City, TX 78636

After arriving at the hotel on Friday evening, we will have free time, to mingle at the resort and explore the grounds.  There is wine tasting room and brewery with live music within walking distance.

Saturday, April 13, 2024

Breakfast will be on your own

9:45a.m. -
line up in the parking lot for our drive to Wimberley.
. Depart for Wimberley, Texas
11:30a.m. -
Lunch will be at the Leaning Pear, 111 River Road #110, Wimberley, Texas 78676.

After lunch you will have the option to explore downtown Wimberley or wine tasting on your own.

5:00 p.m.
 Gather for a short drive to dinner
5:30 p.m.
 Dinner Proof and Cooper, 209 E. Main St., Johnson City, TX for a buffet dinner of BBQ.

. - Barrel House, 101 E Grayson St, Llano, TX 78643 for a buffet meal.  Brunch and lunch options will be offered. We will plan to be there by 11:00 to park.

From I-20 head south on Bryant Irvin.  The Starbucks is in the shopping
center on the left near the corner of Bryant Irvin and Oakmont Blvd.


2) Alternative Fort Worth Section Meeting Place in Hico:
Friday, April 12, 2:00pm. Valero gas station in Hico.  Caution: the gas station name may have changed to Chevron or another company.

404 N 2nd St, Hico, TX.  It is on the corner of TX-6 (2nd Street) and US-281, Hico, TX.  Coming from Fort Worth, it'll be on the right.
