Enjoy a country drive, a fascinating guided tour of a major paleontological site, and lunch at Terry Black's BBQ in Waco, TX. The Waco Mammoth National Monument is the site of the largest concentration of mammoths which died in the same event, believed to be a flash flood. Sixteen skeletons were first discovered. These remains were transported to a museum in Baylor University. A second discovery in the same site comprised a large bull, a female, 2 juveniles and a camel, believed to have died in a later flash flood.
