Join
us for a country drive, a German (or American home cooking) lunch at Rohmer's
Restaurant in Muenster,
and wine tasting and winery tour at Blue Ostrich Vineyard and Winery in St. Jo.
Rohmer's Restaurant serves German food like schnitzel and sausage but also
features an extensive American home-cooked selection. Make your selections
from the menu and pay for your own lunch.
After lunch, we will drive to St. Jo and visit the Blue Ostrich Winery, a
charming venue nestled on the rolling hills and meadows unique to this part of
Texas. Here we will enjoy a tour-taste event, sampling some wines while
touring this beautiful facility. The winery is home to two ostriches, the remnants
of a herd which once roamed this former ostrich farm. A souvenir wine
glass is included. The cost of the tour-taste will be included in the
event fee below. After the tour, you may opt to purchase some of the Blue
Ostrich's great wines.
Please sign up as soon as possible. Space is limited - other
groups will be at the winery - first come, first served. Help us manage this event by
committing early so we can plan better and provide a good headcount to our venues.
Where: We will meet at the
Starbucks on 1409 N Saginaw Blvd, Fort Worth, TX north of downtown Saginaw.

Event Fee:
The cost of this event will be $25
per person for MBCA members and their immediate family members.
Non-members will be charged $30 per person. You may pay the event fee
online or with a check. The fee will cover the Blue Ostrich Tour-Taste event (4 wines
to taste plus a souvenir Blue Ostrich wine glass. You may purchase more wines at
additional cost.) and sundry event expenses. Lunch at Rohmer's Restaurant will be
pay your own. Note: Blue Ostrich requires us to pay for the group
in advance, so we will not be able to issue refunds after their
close-of-business, October 9 in the event you need to cancel.

online payment serves as your registration. You can pay for this event with your credit card via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal Account to do so. If you have a mix of members and non-members attending,

From North Loop 820 (NW of Downtown Fort Worth), go north on BUS 287N /
N Main Street toward Saginaw. Stay on BUS 287N past Bailey-Boswell Road.
Enter the Walmart shopping center on the left between Wells Fargo bank and
Starbucks.
