Cactus Grill Eats and Red Caboose Wine, Meridian and Clifton, TX, Saturday, September 20, 9:45am.

Join us for a country drive to Meridian, lunch at the highly-rated Cactus Grill Restaurant, then wine-tasting at the also highly-rated Red Caboose tasting room.  The Cactus Grill has a variety of excellent Southwestern and Mexican selections at reasonable prices. It is a surprising find in little Meridian.  Make your own lunch selections from the menu and pay your own. After lunch, we will do a tasting of 6 wines at the Red Caboose tasting room in nearby Clifton, and have an opportunity to purchase some of their highly-regarded wines. The event fee of $20 per member ($25 per nonmember) covers the 6-wine Red Caboose tasting including tax and tip. They will choose the wines due to our group size.  Lunch is pay your own.

 NOTE:  The Cactus Grill is a small establishment.  Please expect some wait time for your food as we anticipate a large group, and everything will be prepared fresh only after you order.  

When:  Saturday, September 20, 9:45am. 

Meeting Place:  At 9:45am (come earlier if you wish to have breakfast), we will meet for a briefing at Starbucks on Oakmont, 7429 Oakmont Blvd, Fort Worth, TX, south of I-20, (817) 423-0874 ‎(see map below).  We will depart immediately after the briefing.

 Signup and Fees:

We will charge an event fee of $20 per person for each MBCA member and their immediate family members. Non-members are welcome, and will be charged $25 each. The event fee covers the wine-tasting fee plus tax and tip at the Red Caboose.  Lunch is pay your own. 

Important:  Please register as soon as possible so we can provide a good headcount to the venues we will visit.  We will need to apprise the facilities of our headcount as we go, and there is a possibility that we will need to limit our attendance if we have too big of a group.  First come, first served.

You can pay for this event with your credit card via PayPal.  Your online payment serves as your registration.  You do not need a PayPal Account to do so. If you have a mix of members and non-members attending, use the drop-down menu below to select "MBCA Member", then click the "Add to Cart" button. From the PayPal screen, click "Continue Shopping". Then, use the drop-down menu below to select "Non-Member", then click "Add to Cart" . After you are done, click "Proceed to Checkout" from the PayPal screen. Please ensure the quantities for members and non-members reflect the number of attendees in your party.
