Holiday Luncheon at Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, TX, Saturday, December 14, 11am-2:30pm.

Our 2024 Holiday Celebration will be a buffet lunch at the famous Colonial Country Club, site of the Charles Schwab Challenge professional golf tournament.  Let us jump start the holidays with good food, games, prizes, and camaraderie with our fellow MBCA members. The agenda, menu and other details follow below. 

When:   Saturday, December 14, 2024, 11am-2:30pm.
Where:  The Colonial Country Club, 3735 Country Club Circle, Fort Worth (near the Fort Worth Zoo), 817-927-4200. Map below.
Room:   Leonard Room.  Enter the clubhouse and take the stairs or elevator (to the right of the entrance) up one floor.
Attire:    Sportcoat and dress shirt (tie optional), slacks for the men, and elegant dress, blouse and skirt, or pants for the ladies.

NOTE:  Space is limited. Sign up now and pay the event fee to assure your spot(s).  First come, first served.

 

Cost and Signup:  The cost of this event will be $60 per person, the same as last year. Cocktails and wine can be purchased at the cash bar (cash only) at additional cost.  Please sign up as early as you can so we can give the Colonial an accurate headcount and assure enough food, drink and space for everyone. Family and friends of MBCA members are welcome.  You have 2 ways to pay for the event fee:

 

1) To pay online using your credit card:

2) To pay with a check:

11:30 - BUFFET LUNCH: 
The sumptuous Colonial Signature Buffet will comprise of the following:

Salads:
Texas Salad with Wichita Falls Greens, Goat Cheese, Blueberries, Strawberries, Toasted Pecans, Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing
Caprese Salad with EVOO and Balsamic Reduction

Meats and Fish:
Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon Caper Sauce
Colonial Chicken Fingers with Pepper Gravy
Braised Beef Short Rib Bourguignon

Sides:
Boursin Whipped Potatoes
Seasonal Vegetable Medley
Buttermilk Biscuits
 
Desserts:
Chocolate Mousse Shooter
Pecan Tarts
Peach and Cream Trifles
 

Beverages:  Iced Tea, Water & Lavazza Coffee included.  Soda, wine and other beverages may be ordered at the cash bar at additional cost.

1:15PM - 2:30PM:  GAME, PRIZES AND SOCIAL.

Cash Bar (Cash Only - please bring adequate cash to purchase your libations): Open throughout the event for liquor, cocktails, beer, wine by the glass, other beverages.  

Parking:  You may use our prepaid valet parking (you may tip the valet), or you may self-park (free parking on premises).  You may need to avail of the valet parking due to club construction activity.
