Say Cheese!  Veldhuizen Cheese Tour, Dublin, TX, Saturday, March 21, 10:45am

Join us for a country drive, lunch at the original Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenville, and a Veldhuizen Cheese tour in Dublin.  The tour will include highlights of the cheese-making process. We will sample cheeses which the factory makes and are available at retailers like Central Market. Should you choose to purchase some cheese, and we recommend you do, your cheeses will be as fresh as can be and cut to order.  If you wish, bring some wine (and glasses) to enjoy with cheese samples provided to help you decide which cheeses to buy.

12:30:  Lunch at Hard 8 BBQ, 1091 Glen Rose Rd, Stephenville, (254) 968-5552.  Hard 8 does not take reservations, so we may not be able to sit together.
02:30:  Cheese Tour at Veldhuizen Cheese, 3364 Co Rd 299, Dublin, (254) 968-3098.  We will go cheese shopping after the tour. You may bring wine and glasses to enjoy with cheese samples.

Cost & Signup:  We will charge an event fee of $10 per person. The fee will cover the cost of the cheese tour and the club's administration expenses.  You may also purchase some cheeses from the factory store.  Pay for your own lunch at Hard 8 BBQ.  Please register and send your event fee as soon as possible to hold your spots and so we can apprise our tour guide. Time and Meeting Place:
 On March 21 at 10:45am we will do a meet and brief at the Cracker Barrel at 8010 SW Loop 820, Fort Worth (I-20 and Winscott Road, west of Fort Worth), (817) 249-3360 ‎(see map below).  We will depart immediately after the briefing.
