Our
event will begin with lunch at Cane Rosso in Fort Worth's revitalized mixed-use
Magnolia Village. Cane Rosso specializes in authentic Neapolitan-style
pizza and also serves a variety of pasta, sandwiches and salads. After lunch, we
will make our way to TX
Whiskey Ranch, which is the largest distillery west of the Mississippi. It
is located on the former grounds of the historic Glen Garden Country Club with a
great view of Downtown Fort Worth. The objective of our group tour is for
us to gain knowledge of the art and science of whiskey distilling.
After the tour, we will have a tasting of 3 of their whiskeys. If you
wish, you can stay on your own after our event to enjoy cocktails at their bar,
browse the Ranch Store and/or listen to live music (until 4pm). Agenda: Saturday, September 21
11:50am. Meet for lunch at Cane Rosso. Pay for your own lunch. Please be on time.
01:30pm. Depart for TX Whiskey. Please make sure you have finished lunch and settled your bill by the 1:30 departure time.
02:00pm. TX Whiskey Tour begins. Make sure you are parked and are at the guest check-in area.
03:00pm. Tour ends. You may stay and enjoy the ranch on your own.

As we are staying within Fort Worth, it may not be practical to caravan from the restaurant to TX Whiskey. Program these locations on your car or phone navigation. You can try to follow cars heading that way, but assume you will need to make your own way to TX Whiskey Ranch.

Notes:
- Caravan may not be practical. Assume you will make your own way to TX Whiskey from Cane Rosso (app. 15 minutes). Set up your navigation with the addresses above.
- TX Whiskey requires every guest to sign a waiver. We will do this during lunch.
- The tour will involve standing and walking, indoors and out. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
- There are water stations at the ranch to keep you hydrated. Please drink responsibly.
Signup and Costs:
We will charge an event fee of $30 per person. Non-member guests are welcome. The event fee will cover the TX Whiskey tour and tasting, plus the club's administrative costs. Lunch at Cane Rosso is pay your own.
IMPORTANT: Help us out by signing up as soon as you can. We have booked reservations for 16 people, which is the tour limit. First come, first served. We will try to make special arrangements if signups significantly exceed 16, but we will need to know ASAP. Please plan accordingly and make sure you can attend. Our reservations are pre-paid, so we can refund cancellations only if someone takes your place. We will establish a waiting list as needed.
